Problem with spaces in Channelname for a Web-Link

    Hi there,
neither FAQ nor the forum could help me on this topic.

What i need is a direct link to a TS-Server in the style of
    teamspeak://SERVER?username=USER?password=PASS?channel=CHAN

unfortunatly the last thing just doesnt work. The connection to the server is great and all but the user does not switch to the correct channel automaticly. My theory is that it has something to do with the spaces in the name, i tried some different codings ('\ ', '+', '%20') but i just cant get the client to connect to the correct server.

Any help or a simple link to a tutorial would be very appreceated

    Thanks,
    georg

    Try this

    teamspeak://1.2.3.4:8767?nickname=YOURNAME?loginname=YOURLOGIN?password=YOURPASS?channel=CHANNEL

    ?cha nnel=CHAN

You have a space in "cha nnel"

ah that was just a typo in the startpost, sorry
The Problem is that the channel name is for instance 'EN - Channel 1' and i dont know how to encode the spaces.

I will fix my original post!

[ed] cant fix it, in the source it doesnt have the space Anyway, thats not the problem i am afraid [/ed]

    thanks,
    georg

It should work if you fill in the space with %20.

    temspeak://....?channel=EN%20-%20Channel%201

If it is a subchannel it won't work. So far I remember that.

Thank you very much! With the safety of knowledge, that %20 is correct, we tried some thing and found out that it was an error in the encoding of the first space, which got turned in a linebreak. Simple error
Thank you guys very much again!
