    TS2 Crash at start in XP Pro SP2

    Hi,

    I recently updated my machine and reinstalled windows XP pro from fresh.

    Used to be a long-term TS user, so I reinstalled it using the latest downloadable client (not the beta though), and after installation is completed, and even after restart, TS2 crashes as soon as I double-click on its icon.

    I tried uninstalling, and reinstalling but no success.
    Could you help me understanding what the problem could be please?

    U sure that the tsclient.log looks exactly like this?

    Well, TS crashes with the usual XP message about submitting an error report to Crimosoft... absolutely useless of course.
    The log location is given in the details of the XP error message.
    This log is extracted from a dumped file in my docs/local settings/temp. The dumped file seems to be produced by TS.

    I can try to have another look at the directory where TS is installed to see if any different log was produced.

    Try to set the debug log options in the client and post the log in here.

    Maxi, his TS crashes at startup Thus he isnt really able to turn on debugmode.. Unless there is some sneaky backdoor through it.
