I have recently updated my TS server from v2.0.r20.b1 Win32 to v2.0.r24.b1 Win32. The problem is that it cant connect to the server by LAN or WAN, I can only connect to it via the server itself.

The server has a static IP, 10.0.0.4, when I connect at the server machine to 10.0.0.4 it works, when I connect from a other computer in my network to it, it doesn't work.

    [20:37:29] Connecting to 10.0.0.4:8767
    [20:37:32] No reply from server
    Maybe the server is offline
or maybe teamspeak is not running on it
When I start the old TS server v2.0.r20.b1 Win32, it all works.

The server machine is running Windows 2000 Sever SP4. When I copy the complete server directory to my other pc. Which is running Windows 2000 Prof SP4, it doesn't work either. I can only connect to it from the machine itself.

But when I copy the complete directory to my other computer which is running Windows XP SP2, it all works.

I got directed to this topic from my other topic about the same problem

Is this a problem in TeamSpeak itself or is this a Windows problem?

that's because u didn't open ports 8767 in your router
log on your rputer and from virtual servers oprn both kind of ports 8767

The old version worked fine, the new version woudn't even let me connect trought LAN, which has noting to do with my ports in my router.

And besides, port 8767 TCP and UDP and 9000 TCP and UDP (I am running 2 servers) is opened and working with the old server version.

Untill I get this sorted I'm just runing the old server version, which works fine, but has some security holes...

perhaps your firewall blocks this request because the executable has changed?

Hmm. Guess because of TS3. I remember that I was able to talk to him once.
