TS Lag Issues
I have been having in-game issues with TS. When I am not in-game, TS works fine. I use Ventrilo from time to time and it works fine as well.
I previously had no problems with TS when in-game; however, since I did a reformat, I have been getting lag within TS itself. To clarify, when someone in the channel speaks, it is choppy...a sort of stuttering effect. I can't understand them and it has gotten to the point where I don't even use it anymore.
Here are my PC specs:
OS: XP Pro SP2
MoBo: ASUS A8N-SLI Dleuxe
CPU: AMD Athlon 64 3200+
RAM: 2GB (4x512MB) PC3200
Audio: Creative Audigy 4
Based on these specs and the fact that it worked fine for me before the reformat, I don't think it has anything to do with my PC.
I have also tried changing the priority from Normal to High, lowered the bandwidth...nothing seems to work.
Should I try an uninstall and reinstall? Could it be driver issues?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the reply.
I believe my connection is fine (7 down, 500 up). As I mentioned, TS worked fine before the reformat. My connection was actually lower then (5 down, 400 up), so I don't see it being the reason for the issue.
Is there a way to see about a newer driver? How do I go about changing it?

Make sure that all of your devices are up to date.

"Audio: Creative Audigy 4" LOL thats your problem! I have the same sound card and it started sounding the same way. Its the extra crap they install like "EAX" settings. I browsed the cd and clicked on the setup.exe and skipped all the extra crap they try to install. Try to reinstall your sound drivers and next time remove your sound card before you reinstall windows.
