Whisper beep/muting
Whisper is a great feature but it would be really nice if you knew a person was whispering you with some sort of indication.
The first option would be a 'nextel' style beep to let a person know a whisper is coming into them and respond with a whisper. There have been many times I didn't realize a comm was a whisper and responded to the whole channel instead of the individual. A simple double beep or other indication that the person that just started speaking to you is doing it via whisper.
The second option would be to have everyone else muted except the person that is whispering to you. Often when one is whispered to there is too much overtalk from the main channel to hear the whisperer. I think this is very much needed to make whisper really effective (as an option of course, i.e. "Mute others when receiving a whisper").
I'd like to hear how others use whisper and if these suggestions seem helpful (as I would certainly find them very useful).

I have given the developers my feedback on this issue...I think it would be good for whipsers to be prefixed with a short beep so you know its a whisper.
Right now when I whisper to anyone, I always say first thing "this is a whisper"
