login issue - different than the others

well . . . I KNOW my connection data is valid
because I CAN connect 95% of the time on first attempt
but all too often, if I turn it off (TS) then back on again
    I cannot Re-Connect
    I get the standard:
    No reply from server
    Maybe the server is offline
or maybe teamspeak is not running on it

I need to reboot the computer
5% of the time I need to reboot on 1st attempt
my son's computer on same LAN has never had any issues
(so I guess router is not an issue?) I have no port fwd / / and do not use windows firewall - just in the router
when I run tracert during the problem times , , , I get cannot resolve
    so . . . . why must I reboot to get connected?
    (WinXP SP 1)

why has there not been any other mention of port fwd?
and if I fwd the ports to MY ip, what will happen to the TS on the other PC on the LAN

are you using DNS name or IP ??
if it was DNS name there ...mabye issue is in cmd> ipconfig /flushdns

you should be able to connect on yours TS server using LAN ip.

do you have LAN DNS server ?

well try tell something more about the issue like bellow
    TS_server
    ip 192.168.x.x
    pc_name server
    FireWall Windows one
    OS Linux debian 3

    TS_clinet_son
    ip 192.168.x.x
    name Martin
    FW ZoneAlarm
    OS Windows XP

    TS_clinet_issue
    ip 192.168.x.x
    pc_name Dragon
    FireWall Windows one
    OS Windows Vista

    router
    ip LAN 192.168.x.x
    ip interNET 224.172.x.x
    DNS_NET ??? (example blog.IamHere.com)
    DNS_LAN ??? (example rout.lan)
FW: own FW policy inside (attached screen)
FWD: own FWD ports policy attached

this was example what will be nice to know however "we dont need you to tell us urs whole NET_ip keep .x.x there"

or put these texts I write in image (no art important is the contain)
anyway if this is how urs connections looks then what address r u using in each computer to connect ?
try test connect another TS servers in internet even its not problem you want solve this test/try can help to specify the issue.

ts server uses IP# so DNS not an issue
    no software firewall at home
    local lan uses linksys router
the firewall in the dsl modem is off (ie bridged to the router)
    my cpu is .100
    son's is .101
he has no issues, I do on many times
we share same router (no ports fwd at this time for TS - just for other programs)
    winxp sp 1
