Trouble Hearing Player In Different Channels
Hi all,
I'm new to the forums but our clan (WARGROUNDS AUSTRALIA) has been using TS successfully for over 2 and a half years. Its an excellent program and congrats to those who have worked hard towards it.
However, we are having an issue with our TS server and a particular member of our clan. Our TS has a number of channels set up within it, all with the same settings (except different passwords on most of them). Users are required to log into our main area (the Public Lobby) and can then go to other channels if they know the password. However, with one user, when he is in the Public Lobby we cannot hear him speak on TS - but as soon as he changes channels we can hear him clear fine.
He has tried reinstalling TS, but we had no luck there. As far as I can tell, all channels are set the same.
Our TS server version is 2.0.24.1 and the codec for all channels is Speex 25.9 Kbit - however, I don't know if this information will help.
Basically, I would like to know if this has happened to anyone before, and whether there is a simple way to fix it. This chap can log onto other TS servers and has never had this issue before - nor have we ever had this occur to any other of our 40+ members.
Thankyou for your time, and appologies in advanced if I've missed something out that I should have included.
Cheers,
wG|MasterShrive.

The public channel is not moderated at all?
Any thing different with that one channel.
Sounds very weird.

Yeah, it is strange. As far as I know there is no difference, but I'm not the guy who set up the TS channels originally - I can only look at the channel settings as they are now.
Also, even though it says its a "Public Lobby", it actually isn't, and the only people who can access it are clan members.
I'll talk to the guy who set up the channels to see if he knows of anything different.
Again, thanks for your time.
