    Question Horrible lag problem help?

    Hello, I have a teamspeak server, and Me and everyone else in my server has horrible voice lag, and I have no Idea how to fix it or whats wrong with it. Thanks for all your help!

    by the way, I have all my channels codec set to 25.9

    What is your upload speed?

    upload speed is unlimited

    Upload speeds are never unlimited.. Unless you have direct acces to a GigaBit or higher connection..
    What type of connection do you have? ( ADSL - Cable ) and which provider with which package?

    dsl, earthlink high speed internet, I use a linksys router.

    go to this page in your router:

    and tell me what it say's at the lines downstream rate and upstream rate.

    ok, try a lower codec, that might help. I think SPEEX 19.5 or one lower might help out.

    Also take a look at this FAQ entry to see whether you got enough UPstream or not. This is depending on how much users will be connected simultaneously.

    Note the lines below the FAQ entry:
    Keep in mind, that a game or other application you run in parallel to TeamSpeak requires as well bandwidth and with several open connections you can not use 100% of your bandwidth. The connection quality will decrease which will be easily heard in a time sensitive application such as a voice-communication tool.
