Nub Questions

Sorry for the nub questions because I left vent to install teamspeak..my questions are once the server is installed I set it up and everything what is the mysql for? Anyway I can encrypt the data of the server and everything so outside sources can't hack passwords. Also can I install my own voice codec? Sorry again and thanks for the help

TS2 uses sqllite by default.

No to own codecs.

Only way that someone could hack passwords is to get access to the file(that would have to be some setting you mess up. TS will not even allow you to do this) or they are sniffing the traffic.

Yeah that just about summons things up. I didn't know if anyone did anything to add more codecs to ts. I'm choosing ts now over vent because of vent's 8 user limit rule now. Vent sounds good and everything, but disappointed by the route they chose. Only issues I have with TS is some people don't like it especially on wow. I can't wait til ts3 and hopefully change everyone's mind about ts.
