i cant connect without crashing

i have teamspeak 2 and 1.5
i all of a sudden cannot use either when i open TS 2 my pc immediately locks up
and i open ts 1.5 and when i connect to a server it then locks up my pc like ts 2 did
i have reformatted my pc and it did not fix the problem my sound card seems to be working fine i been playing battlefield 1942 np and using all other things on my pc with no problems but i cannot use TS cuz it crashes me as soon as connection is activated HELP please : (
