    Autoboot new servers

    Hi all,
this is the deal; We CTS hosters have currently a selfbuild teamspeak registar system (Teamspeak 2 serer+ mysql 5), running and configged. After registering the server sets up... But we require to manually boot it, as the server wont do this.

Does anyone have either a script that allows the owner of the server (As when they hire it, they become owner of that port-server) to boot and stop the server. Or have an script that actively scans for servers that arent booted, and if so, that they do become booted?

    Thanks in advance.

    Does anyone have an idea?
i read somewhere the where some PHP scripts that allowed Server Administrators to shut down/boot their server as well, but the link to the scripts runs dead.

It depends on what operating system you are using and do you have SSH access? You can search the forums for information on how to do so there are a few guides.

we are running on an Debian system, with an modified core.
yes we have SSH access, this is not the problem.

What we are looking for is an php sollution page, which "users" can boot their server (example, user123 has server xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:671, that he is allowed to boot and shutdown this server).
As i said, i know there are scripts for this, however the urls are running dead.

Anyone have a php script laying around which handles it? It's becoming more and more of an issue due the mandatory requirements from our users.

well makeing such plain PHP code which just connect to telnet use SSA account to auth itself them most likely check user credetials and start or stop server doesnt look so hard(own experience opinion).

anyway if you ask for fastest way I would recommend latest infos about

i requested a trial once, but apparently that "panel" cannot work into our php emulator.
Although, i found a link to CyTS, which sais to have all commands. If i can get to program to verify the "admins" from my normal database, and then log in under my sadmin and boot the server when he presses boot my server, with this script, should be doable.

as far as i can see it works with the old SQL system, and not with MySQL. The reason we use MySQL is because its more reliable and for us easier to access. Next to that we are running automatic scripts for appliance and adding the server after the payment have been aproved.

Our idea with the CyTS system is to automaticly boot the TS system when the payment is approved, And when the payments has runned out to stop the TS system.
If the TS server shuts down we want this script to check out each server if he is allowed to boot yes/no (say payment period = 0, and payment_time_till = yday as example) then the script wont boot the server (aka each server is set to manual boot).
These requirements are not in this scriptpackage you gave (sadly).

I see. So you rly need something custom or ask devs of the thing linked above if and when they will add it.
Are there limits (or what options to code in) in what languade should daemon be? other thing is sources(inputs outputs) How it will check payment??

if you are someone whos here on behalf of one server I think, then add your website in profile
