no one can hear me after 30 seconds

the problem is after i log into warcraft 30 secods later i can hear others on my teamspeak they cant hear me... then i restart it and then they can hear me but i cant hear them ive checked everything to see if my mic is muted its not nor on the mic itself ive also tried local test but to no avail no luck there either...and this is all a shock cause ive used teamspeak for 2 years now i cant at all so any help is greatly appreciated

Update your PC. There is a whole service pack to get.

That includes your sound card drivers.

checked my pc and windows is up to date but my audio drivers were out of date but this did not fix the problem also bought a new mic and still have the same problem

Is it a headset mic or a desktop mic? Is it USB or those plug thingies? (can't think of the name of them right now)

I have a friend who uses his front panel to plug in his headset. When he enters a particular game, it switches his front panel off and switches to the back. This occurs within 30 seconds. He can hear us but his mic doesn't work.

I'm pretty sure WoW has in game mic options. Check those and make sure they are correct. I'm guessing that this 30 seconds is dedicated to those options. You load up the game, log in, select your character and after your in, i think that's when these options come into effect. If they're wrong, then you end up with a problem like your having. All this within 30 seconds.

Make sure your windows default devices are correct.
