    MySQL 5

There needs to be another way of doing this without the "MySQL Connector/ODBC 3.51" I mean, I tested this method on my own PC and it worked, but my server is 64x and the driver is a little more... annoying to install there.

This seems like LOTS of effort, can we not just get an updated version of the libblahblah.dll that was used for MYSQL 4?

Thanks in Advanced, this is pretty annoying ^_^

Thanks for that usefull informative post but...

Last time I checked TS3 has not been released =]

Ive been visiting the teamspeak website for about 2 - 3 years now, always looking out for Teamspeak 3 [=

This topic is about the TS2 server and its connection to the MySQL database though.

I too noticed that. And i've been around for five years. And TS3 was "To be released soon" at least a year before that.
If you want to talk about TS2 and MySQL - there's a stickied topic.

    Well, let me explain this.
External database support has been added through Borland DBExpress.
Native MySQL/W32 layers for it... a bit out of service. Or money. Or both.
So I pretended to be creative and tried something different. To my surprize, it worked just fine. Yes, it's not lokks smooth and straightforward (and in fact it doesn't), but for me it works. Even to the level of "fire and forget". I have TS server that running on it's own for last... like, 2 years. Didn't touched it's config (core) for a while.
