I read the post about how Teamspeak could definetly be done for the PS3. Im not sure if I buy the statement seeing as though for it to be worthwhile it would need to run simultaneously with whatever game is being played. I would imagine that Sony has some kind of hurdle in place prohibiting that from being done. With that being said Teamspeak is top quality software and its something that would definetly improve the overall Playstation experience seeing as though Voice chat is left up to the developers and some pathetically dont do voice chat very well at all. I just registered to post here but Ive been a teamspeak user for some time. If the decision is made to go ahead with a project like this I would be very interested in helping anyway I can. Im no programmer but I can and will test the you know what out of it and provide usefull feedback.

If Teamspeak can really be done I strongly encourge your team to look at it again and give it a shot.

There would be a problem with playing a game at the same time. Right now you can not play a game and play audio that is saved on the console. Imagine trying to run TS3.

I think your talking of Custom Soundtracks and yes it is possible. The firmware was made available about a year ago. The problem is it has to be enabled by the game developer and very few of them have used it.

With no way to do it from the user side, thus making it even a smaller market. I would not expect PS3 will have any TS client for quite some time.
