Icon Question

Hi, first would i say that teamspeak 3 is the usefulest software and the qualli is very nice, when i have a good micro, inet and a good soundcard i will listen to me as in the reallife.

- Now my question:

The Operator Icon is Id "200" right?
I would set the icon 200 in a new group of me under
"Group_icon_nofither" or so. When i use 300 for Serveradmin,
than have the groud the S Icon, but when i set the vaule to 200, it
will not work.

-Can i set own Icons?

in your local TS3 client folder you will see a GFX/Default folder

In there you will find a couple of icons
servergroup_300.png (Server Admin)
changroup_100.png(Channel Admin)
changroup_200.png(Channel Operator)

All you have to do is create the graphics,

Name them
Servergroup_###.png or changroup_###.png
distribute them to your users,
and set the icon identifier in your particular group to whatever you have set in your icon name.

Since I'm a total noob at this.

How do I make an icon for a group I made myself?
For instance. Lets say I made the group "regged".
Is it possible to make an icon for that group?

I tried making an icon named regged_300.npg and giving the iconvalue of 300 in the group permissions. Since that didn't work I guess I need som explaining

You have to name the file, I use ID 130 as example, like this: servergroup_130.png

Then set the icon ID 130 to the server group.

But notice: At the moment only users see this icon, if they have this file in the right gfx folder.

YEah, I've figired that part out about the standard groups. But what if I make a new group. Can I give that group an icon to?

You have to define the value i_group_icon_id for the group in question. Setting this value to "123" will cause the client to look for servergroup_123.png.
