Tip: Avoid confusion about unique ID

Why do you say "unique ID" instead of "public/private key architecture" or "public-key-infrastrukture"? This term is well-know already (well since mid-90s)... took me half an hour to figure out that actually the unique ID is the private key

Im quite sure that the unique ID isn't the private key, as it is visible by anyone

The ID shown in the Teamspeak client is the public key. Export your identity and open the ini file with a text editor, there is your private key (and keep this save!).

@Jonybat: in a way both of them are unique. an unique pair of keys (as always in asymmetric encryption).

anyway it may be nice for others (i know this now ) to state that ts3 uses a public-key-infrastrukture. i searched half an hour for this because at first i couldn't explain to myself how this unique-id-thing should probably work.
