    Solved [Fixed] Winamp plugin not doing anything.

    Hi all.

    Been trying to get this winamp plugin working, but am having absolutely no luck. I enable it, change settings, start up TS and winamp in different orders, still can't get the volume to dim. I'm using 3.0.0beta2 and the very latest winamp. Has anyone else managed to get this to work? Or are there a ton of you who are in the same boat as I?

    Do you have Windows 7? For me it only works with Windows 7 when i run it in compatibility mode for Windows Vista.

    Alright, thanks for all the advice all. For windows 7 users (at least on x64) just run TS3 in vista compatability, fixes all the issues with winamp plugin. And for those who were having problems with the volume, could just be the settings. The suppression rate actually sets the volume in winamp to whatever it is set at. So the lower the bar, the lower the volume. A little misleading. Thanks all.

    Winamp Plugin not working

    I turned on the Winamp plug-in and it decreased the volume but did not turn it back up,

    I have turned off the settings and it did not correct winamp, now I can barely hear winamp, the plug-in is turned off I have restarted winamp my PC and Teamspeak, is there somewhere in Winamp that I can reverse the changes?

    or in windows maybe?

    I'm using windows 7 64bit

    I have also updated winamp to the latest version

    I have also ran Teamspeak in Vista compatibility mode, ran as Administrator as well, now I'm out of options, and I'm pissed, I don't want to use iTunes.

    The winamp plugin simply changes the volume output of winamp, then reverts it back up when teamspeak tells it to. Open up winamp and check to see if the volume is down. (winamp has its own volume control separate to that of windows). If it's down, put it back up. If you can't find the volume control, try clicking on any area around the play/pause buttons (just on blank space to select winamp) and scroll wheel up, this adjusts winamp volume normally. Hope this helps you out.

    @DjOli

    yes I've checked the volume in winamp, it as well as my windows system volume are at 100%

    I've exhausted everything that I know of, side from a setting in Winamp to revert output volume? or something, I don't know ......

    I guess I have to just wait till the Teamspeak Dev team fix it

    the volume control plugin works FINE for me (i set the delay to 0).
    winamp 5.56 pro / win xp pro sp3 / ts 3.0.0 beta7 build 9525

    But there is one concern which should get fixed:
    - player1 speaks -> volume goes down
    - player2 also starts speaking -> volume stays down
    - player1 stops speaking but player2 continues speaking -> volume goes up again due to player1 stop speaking

    And very important, one suggestion!
    as i and probably many others run the output via their speakers please make an option that also sets the winamp volume down when yourself starts speaking!!!

    Well for me the Volume Control Plugin does not work either. I did enable it did the setup and all that but it just wont do anything. Running Windows 7 32bit here, Client 9931, Winamp 5.572 (Jan 13th 2010)
    I did try my own Winamp Control I wrote a few years ago and it's not having any Problems controlling Winamp, be it changing volume, track position etc. So it definately is not Windows to blame but Teamspeak!
    Dunno how Teamspeak tries to do it but here's how I did it back then:
    Code:
    WA_hwnd = FindWindow("Winamp v1.x", nil);
    SendMessage(WA_hwnd, WM_USER, <Volume Level (0-255)>, 122);
