[Fixed] Winamp plugin not doing anything.
Hi all.
Been trying to get this winamp plugin working, but am having absolutely no luck. I enable it, change settings, start up TS and winamp in different orders, still can't get the volume to dim. I'm using 3.0.0beta2 and the very latest winamp. Has anyone else managed to get this to work? Or are there a ton of you who are in the same boat as I?

Alright, thanks for all the advice all. For windows 7 users (at least on x64) just run TS3 in vista compatability, fixes all the issues with winamp plugin. And for those who were having problems with the volume, could just be the settings. The suppression rate actually sets the volume in winamp to whatever it is set at. So the lower the bar, the lower the volume. A little misleading. Thanks all.

Winamp Plugin not working
I turned on the Winamp plug-in and it decreased the volume but did not turn it back up,
I have turned off the settings and it did not correct winamp, now I can barely hear winamp, the plug-in is turned off I have restarted winamp my PC and Teamspeak, is there somewhere in Winamp that I can reverse the changes?
or in windows maybe?
I'm using windows 7 64bit
I have also updated winamp to the latest version
I have also ran Teamspeak in Vista compatibility mode, ran as Administrator as well, now I'm out of options, and I'm pissed, I don't want to use iTunes.

The winamp plugin simply changes the volume output of winamp, then reverts it back up when teamspeak tells it to. Open up winamp and check to see if the volume is down. (winamp has its own volume control separate to that of windows). If it's down, put it back up. If you can't find the volume control, try clicking on any area around the play/pause buttons (just on blank space to select winamp) and scroll wheel up, this adjusts winamp volume normally. Hope this helps you out.

@DjOli
yes I've checked the volume in winamp, it as well as my windows system volume are at 100%
I've exhausted everything that I know of, side from a setting in Winamp to revert output volume? or something, I don't know ......
I guess I have to just wait till the Teamspeak Dev team fix it

I do have the same problem with winamp. I looked through configurations for winamp and my soundcard but both are set to 100% volume. I reinstalled winamp and uninstalled TS3 but the problem remains. I also noticed the same issue with other applications I had running simultanously with winamp when this problem first occurred. So its not only winamp that is effected by this "low volume" issue.
Is there anyone who knows how to solve this? I'm using Windows 7 32 Bit and Teamspeak 3 Beta1 (now Beta2, but this happened with Beta1)

Well i fixed it for Winamp....
Just go to your Winamp install destination and backup "out_ds.dll" located in the Plugins folder (I copied it to Winamp root folder). Then deinstall the DirectSound Plugin in the Winamp Plugin Settings Menu (Winamp restarts in this moment). After that, close winamp, copy your backuped file back to the Plugins folder, restart Winamp and activate the DirectSound Plugin.
Then Winamp works for me fine again!
