Performance
Hiho
I have the TS3 (beta2) server running under Linux x64. I notice that as soon as I have a significant number of people on the server (i.e. 10+), the performance of the rest of the server (i.e. apache2) goes WAY down.
Looking at TOP it is obviously NOT a question of CPU and/or memory...
Any hints/tipps?
Cheers
Remo

If CPU and memory loads look good then ext thing I usually check are my disks and disk controllers. What's your I/O load look like?

Bandwidth: 100Mbps (in a data center)
30 people x 5kbps (that is what I have set as codec quality) = 150kbps which is "nothing".
IO: dunno... how can I get the performance data in Ubuntu? I.e. what is the TOP equivalent for disk i/o?
Noteworthy: The same server with TS2 has absolutely no issues with 30 users parallel...
Cheers
Remo
