Solved Function Key "FN" not recognized

    Hi Guys,

Great to see that a TS client is now released for Mac Osx, unfortunately i have been using the "FN" (funtion key) for years and with the new beta version of the 3.0 software, it just doesn't detect it..

Is it on purpose ? , anything particular to be able to use this key ?

    Thanks

    regards

    BuG

I've got this exact same issue. My PTT button under Teamspeex is the 'fn' key. This no longer works under Teamspeak3.

Also whilst I'm at it. The dialog that tells you you can press escape to cancel the PTT key entry is wrong because if you press escape it is set as your PTT key. There is no way to clear a PTT key.

Missing push-to-talk key on Mac Laptops

We used to be able to use the "fn" (function key, on the bottom left hand corner of the keyboard) for our push-to-talk button on Mac laptops. It doesn't seem to allow us to do that on the new Teamspeak 3. This key is the most convenient on the keyboard— almost never used while gaming, and easy to find by feel without looking down.

If you could please add the "fn" key to the permitted push-to-talk buttons, that would be great!

    Thanks.

Bumping this topic. Please fix this ASAP, the 'fn' button is pretty much the only convenient key on the mac laptop keyboards that is not in regular use.

Very much needed! It's the only key that really makes sense to use for push-to-talk.

fn key isn't available as hotkey, so there is no bug.
Developer will discuss about it, but low priority.

Low Priority? Darn. This is the one thing stopping me from moving to TS3! (yes, seriously)

It is not possible to use that key.
    This won't be included.

My gaming group has just switched from Ventrilo to using TS3. However much to my dismay I found out that Fn key is not accepted by TS3. All the other keys on my keyboard will affect my game play. This was the only key that I could easily access and use as my push-to-talk button.

This key does not work with our current hotkey system.

    Upate
We try to add a way to recognize the FN key as a hotkey.
