[Solved] [REQUEST] Foobar2000 Volume control.
hi,
i need a plugin that makes the volume in Foobar quieter and louder if someone else speaks.
it would be nice if someone would create such a plugin.
i think that there is still some people are interested.

yeah I'd like to have this kind of plugin too. foobar2000 ftw :-)
maybe it would be ok too, to create an plugin that sends hotkeys to the computer on different actions.
Example:
Some one else or you speak -> send hotkey 'CTRL + X' to program or global.
Some one, a friend or an admin send the following message -> "/nexttrack" -> send hotkey 'CTRL + LEFTARROW'.
Because in foobar2000 (or other programs) we can define special hotkeys to reduce or increase volume and select tracks...

Well, I'm working on that.
Tough problem right now is that foobar2000 has one of the shittiest ways to access it ever.
I will have to implement a few extra controls to foobar2000.
Examples:
- Getting the current volume
- Setting the volume to a specific amount
- Getting the current state if foobar2000 is playing something or not
another one is, but that will be actually quite easy, to check if foobar2000 is running or not.

What I would really like would be for the plugin to also allow you to reduce your own volume when talking. I often want to listen to music through my speakers, but people will have a hard time hearing me for obvious reasons. If pressing my push to talk key would also reduce the volume of foobar, it would pretty much solve the problem.

as I requested a plugin for ts3 that sends configurable hotkeys to the computer like: "SHIFT+ALT+CTRL+F12".
Those hotkeys can command TS3 aswell like reducing the volume of you talking.
