ts3/ts2 freezes my computer!
Hi
I've been using ts2 for a while on my desktop with no problems at all and ts3 works fine on the desktop too. But when i tried ts2/ts3 on my laptop, it keeps freezing my computer after like 30-45 seconds of use and i have to keep restarting my computer. I have messed around with it and figured that it has to be the teamspeak application that is running on my computer that is causing my computer to freeze. I've tried multiple times to run ts2 on my laptop and after a while it just freezes the computer. I then got the new ts3 downloaded and before i even connect to a server my whole computer freezes and i have to restart it again.
I use windows xp professional on my desktop and laptop so it cant be the operating system thats the problem.
If anyone can help it would be much appreciated, thank you!

You think that just because you use XP Professional that it's impossible for this problem to be with the OS?
How about trojans?
How about a virus?
How about other scumware?
It could be any number of things from those listed above, to your system specs being terrible. Without decent information on your part, there is no way anyone can truly answer your questions.
Try posting your specs: Processor? Memory? Hard disk size? How full is your drive?
Have you done a scan for virii using a good scanner (in, not AVG or Norton)? Have you scanned your machine for trojans and rootkits using something like MalwareBytes or SuperAntiSpyware?
Your trouble could be an endless list of possibilities... give us more information and hopefully we can help you solve the problem.

i am currently doing a virus scan with AVG.
i have a 2.66GHZ processor pentium 4 with 480MB of Ram.
The computer itself runs very fast with no problems and my drive is barely full. I'll wait for the virus scan to be over and update you with what was wrong.

I have the same problem with TS2 client. if it sits idle and not used for a few minutes, it freezes...

I have had this problem for many months,, and posted here asking for help, so far noone has figured out how to fix it and why it happens.
I have bene using TS for many years. This problem started maybe a year ago.
I have WinXP.
Thanx..
note: I have not used T3 yet, but have it installed..

ive figured that its only ts3 and that ts2 works fine on my computer. I've also found out that if i just open up Ts3 and leave it running it doesn't freeze but when i connect to any server, after about 1-2 minutes my whole computer freezes and i have to restart. I also ran a virus scan and registry cleaner and ran disk cleaner and updated all my drives and also tried running the defragmenter and nothing worked. I still have the same problem.

it appears unless everyone I connect to updates to TS3, I will continue to have this problem. I am not sure if I have this problem with TS3 because no one I know is using it..

It maybe fixed..
I finally got a set of Motherboard sound drivers that seem to have fixed the problem.. all of the earlier drivers gave me that crash..
I ran a test lastnight and did not have a crash all night..
those drivers I used were not out untill a few weeks ago..they are very new..
