Logging started

i have downloaded the server software then unziped it. then i ran it.. all that happens is a black dos screen that says

Logging started
inportant
user name and password

that is it. . nothing else happens.. what is wrong? it did not create a file or folder in the program files. (folder)

what is wrong what needs to happen ?

for whatever reason, TeamSpeak3 again doesn't have an INSTALLER (which since its been redone in C++ it should be SUPER easy) and basically when you run it in CMD prompt (dont just run the exe in the folder) its actually started... connect use the token to get server admin and your done ("BASIC" done)

what you mean. with the token? what is that?

you are going to need to go into the logs, and open the first log file, look for the server token string (its the string right below where it TELLS you that the blow is the server token...)

then in the client go to permissions and then use token...

use token is greyed out. . dont you have to put in a ip address or something ?

well you have to connect to your server first of course, so if you have your server setup on your personial computer use localhost or 127.0.0.1 to connect to

what port # do i use? since the server is not running since all it is a black screen ?

ok i opend the log found it is on 0.0.0.0.10011 it will not open on that or on 127.0.0.0 but i dont know what port # I will say TS 2 was much easyer..

also found the token but can not get on the server ... to put in token..

are there instructions on this? looked for anything for help ?
