Use which ever DBMS (Database Magament System) that you want. The SQL commands should be the same (if thats the route you want to take). Other wise the command line method does not require one or the other.

Yes, I use phpMyAdmin, where I changed the login name and password.
Now I'm no longer with the web interface on the server. So I can log in, but once I makiem my server, I am spellbound. Why might that be?

Were you getting this error before? If so, this tutorial would not fix this loading problem.


Only thing I can say to do is download the server files again, make a new folder and copy over your ts3server.sqlitedb file. (which holds all your server info)

my TS3 server runs without any problem.
but i´ve forgot my server admin password so i tryed your tutorials.
this didn´t work for me to get my password back
after new downloading of ts³ it shows no admin password in the logfiles.

Of course it wouldn't, it saw the previous database. You'll need to follow the tutorial to reset you password (one of the two). I would suggest doing the first one as it is much less intrusive and would be difficult to screw up.

Are you using the scripts they gave you to run?

./ts3server_startscript.sh start

or

./ts3server_minimal_runscript.sh

Anything else, is outside my area of expertise.
