Okay so, I'm loving TS3, looks awesome. But this new permissions system has me totally destroyed (which seems to be a recurring motif around here). First off, I would like to explain the 5 tiers of permissions as I understand them, and have you guys correct my mistakes and explain the grey areas for me:

-Server Groups: Server-wide permissions, like the ability to kick users and edit channels.
-Client Permissions: Give a specific client a new permission (or reduce their permissions) without moving them to a new group. (Overwrites Server Groups.)
-Channel Permissions: This, unfortunately, makes no sense to me? Does it give permissions to all the clients in that channel? Or... ?
-Channel Groups: Channel specific permissions, like kicking users from that channel and editing said channel. Good for giving clients a personal channel to setup and do with as they please. (Overwrites Server Groups and Client Permissions.)
-Channel Client Permissions: Exactly like Client Permissions except only applies in specific channels. (Overwrites everything.)

So did I make any mistakes there?

Next, I want to set up a couple more groups and such, I haven't decided exactly how I want to do this but I've hit a snag before I even start. I can't give a group new permissions from the TS3 permissions dialog, there is an error message saying I have insufficient permissions. So, since I am the owner of the server, how can I give myself total control and 100% permissions so there is nothing I can't do? I tried looking at ServerQuery but that just boggles my mind even more.

Lastly, why is there no official help file on this? I know it's just a beta, but with no help file and no versions of TS2 available for download, help files and startup guides are a must...

EDIT: Oh, and one last question. How does the new Permanent/Semi-Permanent/Temporary Channels system work? Are Permanent and Temporary the same as TS2 Registered and Unregistered channels respectively? Or something completely different?
