Unlimited file transfer, but stops at 2gb?

    Like topic says.

Me and my friend was testing the permission-system out and we've found one bug so far.

With bandwidth limited set to "-1", thus unlimited, it stops at exactly 2gb (2048mb).

    Ideas?

-1 does not always mean unlimited in some sections. Try actually setting a cap to something that might be realistic for you

Sounds kind of stupid having a setting to be unlimited when it's not actually unlimited.
But I'll try what you said and report back.

2gb of what? Of a single file? Of a total bandwidth used? Be more specific.

2GB is the maximum size any file can have on a 32 bit operating system...

LOL where on earth did you hear that. That is not correct

there is no file size limit per say for 32 bit

There may be limits on certain file systems fat16 2gb, Fat 32 4GB
    Ntfs no limit
but there is nothing determining the limit in the os

Ok, I was indeed not correct I just recently had a problem with an application on XP (NTFS file system), which had a 2GB file size limit so I mixed up the two issues But still, while NTFS or EXT3 won't have a 2GB file limit, Teamspeak might have such a limit.

If I remember correctly there are two limits. One for the virtual server and one global for all virtual servers. Maybe you miss one of this?

    Im also having this issue.

when our friend with the 100 megabit connection uploaded a file, at 2 gigabytes it stopped and crashed the server. it stopped exactly at 2 gigabytes.

I have checked the permissions and the virtual server information and ther is no 2 gigabyte limit from what i can see.

There we're no server log errors/warning/crashes at all either.

I'm going to take a guess and say this is a bug.

Local i'm able to upload 2GiB and >4GiB >8 GiB.
Is there a global Quota for transfer set on your server?

Tested on: Server Beta 12 , Client Beta 9 and Server runs on Windows 7 x64.
