Do you mean can't connect?
Did you gave them your IP from global internet? and not 192.168.0.xx or 127.0.0.1.
Try this given IP http://whatismyipaddress.com/

i tried everything i could find here on the forums to get my home ts3 server setup to be able to connect from internet/external ip. DMZ, applying the external ip to the internal ip in modem settings. nothing
windows xp pro 32 bit
Fios modem/router
what worked for me.
forward in the router...
UDP 9987
TCP 10011
TCP 30033
bind the ts3 server to the internal ip (ip server computer is assigned from router)
ts3server_win32.exe" voice_ip=xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx query_ip=xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx filetransfer_ip=xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
x = my internal ip
most people on this forum say there is no need for this, but its the only thing that worked for me
i have run BF1942, BF2, BF2142, ventillo, FEAR and TS2 servers from home here.
all have worked just fine doing simple port forwarding.
TS3 is the first i had to bind to an ip.
look though all the other "cant connect" post and see what you can find
