how to configure server

hi,

i know i can configure the server via http or telnet. and i know i can disable webadministration in the server.ini but my main problem is the firewall in the hosting center doesn't let me map the port for administration. i know i can change it, but is there any other way ?
telnet would use the same port right ?

isn't there some other way to edit the database ? like with mysqladmin or phpmyadmin ?
because i can only map the port for upd to transmit the voicestream, but not the ports admin.

and what is tcpquery ? do i need this for webadmin ?

like I said, I can't use this port because of the firewall, but I was lucky an 8080 was free and open, so I can use the webadmin funktion.

tcpquery is just the port for the telnet admin session ? thats nice, then i don't really need it.
