Give use some information about your hardware and operation system.
And TS3 client (32Bit/64Bit) information.
We are on it.

Same problem
Win xp 64 bit / SB X Fi Audio / Logitech G35 headset / TS3 64bit / Microsoft Natural Multy Media keyboard
Everything seems to work fine but I cant set a key to activate mic and I cant get out of activate key mode once in it.
I have to ctrl alt delete to bring up task manager to shut it down tried several times with the same results.
Not sure if its not recognizing the keyboard but in task manager it dosnt look like its not responding or locked up it just seems not to be getting a responce from the keyboard.

Hotkey Problem (They are not Working)
Hey guys!
I got the following problem:
I have set Hotkeys for Toggle Microphone and Push-to-Talk.
If I only run Windows everything works fine, but if i'm going to Start something in FullScreenMode, like Games, it's not working anymore. With TS2 everything worked fine before, and i would like to speak like everyone else during gaming.
There's a possibility to change that? I hope so

Maybe try running the game or TS3 in compatibility mode.
Try a different key.
Is the TS3 the right version for you computer (32 bit / 64 bit)?

i am having the exact same issue, and it only seemed to happen since i upgraded from TS3x64-beta11 to beta 12.. its currently set to ctrl and i cannot change it now and have to end the process and just use voice activated.
im running windows7x64, ts3x64-beta12, onboard realtek soundcard, using MS vx3000 webcam for mic.
i will try downgrade back to beta11 and report back.

The box can be closed with Alt+F4, but of course this is no solution.

I too can't get my ptt to work. I thought everything was fine when I set it up, but it won't work. However, my voice activation doesn't work either! Don't know if there is an issue with only running 10.4 and not the most current OS.

Well, I had the problem the other way around. The reason was the server and not the client who forced me to push to talk instead of voice activation. I suggest to test a different server first and if it's working fine, ask your server admin to check the settings.

PTT - doesn't recognize keyboard input
Suddenly... after using TS3 beta 12 for about 48hours (give or take), I can no longer set my PTT key.
The wizard will display either the GREY BOX or a SOLID BLACK BOX.
There is no sign of activity when I press the LEFT CTRL KEY... which is how I had previously set it up to work.
The wizard locks up completely. Clicking (with the mouse) in the GRAY BOX makes no sound. Clicking outside of the GRAY BOX makes the default Windows sound... as though you had scrolled to the top or bottom of a page.
The only way out is to three-finger SALUTE the PC and shut down the APP from within Task Manager.
TS3 is still running - whatever resident component - because I can see up to 3% CPU demand every once in a while in "Processes".
Is there NO fix for this?
Keith
