Error
Hey all,
So like I have a friend who has downloaded ts3 off your guys website but everytime he trys to open the ts3 program, he gets a error msg right away saying "ts3client_win32.exe - Application error" and also says "The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0150002). Click OK to terminate the application."
How do we fix this because he would really like to get it working. Thanks in advance for your guys help. BTW he has 32 bit vista.

Not 100% sure if this is the problem, but try to install .NET Framework 3.5 SP1.

Hi
Download the installer again. That seems to be a corrupted file.

Also, there have been some issues with Pentium class processors. I have tried many times to run TeamSpeak 3 on different machines using a Pentium II or Pentium III processor, each has failed. At the moment, I do not think that TeamSpeak 3 is compatible for Pentium class processors that are below a Pentium 4.

So far, the only think i've seen about that is that the TS3 client needs SSE instructions set. From this, i'd say that every CPU from Pentium III on, should support the client.
I said that about downloading the client again because that already happened with me, in one of the previous releases.

TS3 Client doesn't start
Hi there,
I've installed TS3 Client 32-bit 3.0.0-beta12 on Windows XP SP3.
When I run the EXE-File, nothing happens... No MainWindow, no Trayicon, no Process in Taskmanager. I didn't even get some Logfiles or Crashdumps.
I tried several solutions:
- Check Admin-rights,
- reinstalled and installed (with clean registry an directory)
- correct permissions of the folder
- install it in another folder
Kind regards,
Deus

Which folder is the correct one?
I tried it many different ways to start TS3 Client:
- Exec from Start-menu-folder
- Exec from "C:\Programme\Teamspeak 3 Client\??.exe
- Exec from Commandline
All with the same result...

Failed To Initialize
My system:
OS: Windows XP 32
Processor: Intel Dual Core E6300 @ 2.8Ghz
Problem:
When I try to open the application, the following message pops up( in dutch ):
Kan de toepassing niet juist initialiseren ( 0xc0150002). Klik op OK om de toepassing te beëindigen.
In English
Cannot properly initialize the application ( 0xc0150002). Click OK to terminate the application.
Tried all the basic things, restart pc, redownload reinstall re-re-re. I need some other help that helps, anyone has a suggestion? I'm open for anything.

Hi
There are 3 things that i would say tho solve that issue. The first would be to re-download the file, but you already said you did. Second, check if the CPU supports SSE, but in this case its obvious it does. Last would be update Windows, more specifically, .NET Framework (to 3.5 SP1 or which one is the latest via Windows Update). Im quite sure that TS3 does not need .NET, but Windows might for something (believe me, i've seen many odd things like this
)

I've analysed the EXE-File with an Disassembler and I think the client does't start because the files 'msvcp90.dll' and 'msvcr90.dll' are missing although they are on my system.
Maybe this is caused by a missing or wrong manifest (more Information http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/libr...8VS.85%29.aspx and http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms235316.aspx)
Can someone approve this?
