Mystherious TS3 Serverscans from unknown IP-Adresses?

    Hello,

i have seen, that our Server was several times scanned from various for me unknown IP Adresses:

    Exemple:
    - 94.75.238.176 (Clanservers Hosting LLC)
    - 212.187.209.52 (Clanservers-UK)
    - 217.163.10.52 (Level 3 Communications Ltd - UK)
    - and some more, mostly from Clanservers - US, UK, NL...

Why does they Scan our Server?
Its possible to suspend that Scans?

    //Edit
Ok, found some Info about some Scans. Like "http://ts3list.2x.to"
They scans the Servers every one Minute! Traffic that the World not need!
Unfortunately he is not the only one, they scanned over all TS3 Servers without being asked.

I think i want a Funktion in TS3 like that:

    Disallow Scans from all
Allow query scan from [ip.ip.ip.ip], [ip.ip.ip.ip]

Dear Developer Team, can you think about that?
I think its a fundamental Problem!

    Thx!

Yes, i did! TS-Viewer.com and gametracker.com. And there scans are OK. At this Time, three Website scans our Server with the right to scan it. But all other i want to suspend.

    Scans like that:
<15:09:21> "Unknown from 85.25.120.233:44424" betrat den Server
<15:09:21> "Unknown from 85.25.120.233:44424" nennt sich nun "TSViewer.com Scan #28289"
<15:09:22> "TSViewer.com Scan #28289" hat die Verbindung getrennt (disconnecting)

    (Sorry, german Version of TS3)
Are OK and initiated by myself. But the Exemple above from Clanservers.com and some other are all unauthorizised. I want to disallow that Scans, but i dont know howto.

Did you have a look at "IP whois" to determinate from where your Server was scanned?
The Exemple above are even not from TS-Viewer or gametracker.

i'm guessing that those ip's are related to grametracker. after i added my server there is when i started getting all the server queries.
i used maxmind to check the ip's

    http://www.maxmind.com/app/locate_ip

you getting all the notifacations i your client ?
i did even from others server on as a guest.

you can turn that off in your client.
    settings/options/application

    "check box" Show ServerQuery clients

That Idea comes me to. I have a look at gametrackers home, but i found nothing about a cooperation about gameservers.com and gametrackers.com.
In the IP LookUp also no Info about a coop about that 2 services.

you getting all the notifacations i your client ?
Yes. For the Beta its ok to see it.

OK, you are sure, gameservers.com are the same as gametracker.com?

    //Edit
Ah, ok, found a small Info about gameservers.com into gametracker Forum.
It seems, they works together. OK. That Problem are closed. But whats about the others (Level 3 Communikations and ts3list.2x.to)?
