Updated Client can NOT join while old clients could?
has anyone else has encountered this kind of problem?
while using the Beta1 clients, they are able to connect fine
the moment they installed Beta9 into their comp (overwritting everything or install to seperate folders), they are unable to DNS or even able to connect to server even if the IP is given out
but the moment they uninstall Beta9 and revert back to Beta 1, voila, they are able to join again.
Any possible reason for it?

What is the version of the server?
Maybe there is some issue with newer client versions connecting to old versions of the server.

nope, it's version 12, I always tries to keep it so the server is up-to-date
not sure if it has anything to do if it were upgraded from beta1 all the way to beta 12
might try to use a fresh server install sometime =\
