well, being the server myself, I found that I have problem sending voice to others =\

here's a clip that someone recorded for me on their client

where as I'm the initial speaker, and as you can see, the voice get heavily clipped at the end

and it appears that I'm the only person that has this kind of problem, where as the other users are communicating fine with other users, so it is not server wide issue, but client wise. So, can someone tell me what's possible reason for it?

I'm using both the latest server (beta12) and the client (beta9) as of this post

PS: I must admit, the effect is quite awesome, lol XD

That seems to be related to some client/sound drivers issue. Sometimes i get users in my server, or even myself, with a similar problem. Since it was very rare i always thought it was "one more of the windows tricks", cause restarting the client solved for everyone.

Was it one time only for you also?

Actually I hear this all the time its a pretty common occurrence for me.

Its usually when we have 25 + people on the server. If we have say 12 or less it doesn't happen. It also usually occurs when we have more than one person trying to talk at a time or if someone has an open mic. Even if one of the speaker has priority speaker it happens.

However it does sometimes happen when only one person is speaking. It will garble for a time then resolve its self.

The server admin has been through all of the sound quality posts in this forum and has tried to adjust the servers codec settings. I'm thinking that this is probably a bandwith issue. because it only happens when we have more than 12 users
