DarkCarboSkin 1.0 Beta by Dukeman
Hey,
I wanna introduce my new theme to you:
Its dark, its of carbon and its a skin:
Its the DarkCarboSkin.
The idea was to design a theme that contains only the colors that are really needed, so that the user wont become confused of a chaos of colors. Because of its dark concept it has a nice contrast of dark and bright items.
It comes with a new icon pack. By now I havent had enough time to renew all of them, but all of the toolbar icons are exchanged. All other stuff will follow soon.
Even though this theme isnt done to 100% I decided to publish it for you.
For testing it
I want you to try it out and tell me, what stuff should become fixed before the next version.
The following "bugs" are known:
=======================
* due to a usage of many graphics it got some performance problems, but I am working on a solution. Ok, first I need an idea
-> FIXED!!!
* opened options windows "Contacts" got an annoying white frame around it.
* while several servers are opened, their active onīs tab got a white stripe on it.
* OK buttons dont change their appearance
* selection bars in submenus dont show their full lenght
* server banner doesnt have a border to its left side

OMG
Thanks for posting this-
I know that there are performance problems i have to fix.
But I am not sure if this problem is caused by
1) too large graphics
2) too many graphics
3) a picture is used at several locations @ same time.
The performance is not influenced by the quality of the picture, you can use png or gif or jpg. Its almost the same.
First i will try to size down my pictures. If this doesnt work i will take out all graphics from the menus and paint it in black and dark colors. I guess you dont really need nice graphics @ option windows.
You will hear from me soon, I will leave a PM.
Btw, is the loading time of the main program ok for you?

This theme is using roughly 700 Mb more than it should.
The images all looked like they were suitable sizes.
Maybe when I get some time today, I'll sift through it and see if we can find the bug.

I know that when you take the graphics out from the option menus, you will have a better performance.
Ill try this first. Then i will cut the images to a smaller size and lock the width of teamspeak.
UPDATE: I GOT IT!!!!!!! I have just sized down the background images and my TS needs only 35KB !!!!!
YOU CAN DOWNLOAD IT IN MY FIRST POSTING.Last edited by Robertdehero; 09-01-2010 at 23:17.
