database invalid constraint
database invalid constraint
CLnt-9 Ser-12
Win32
I have searched the forum on this, but my situation was different but the error is the same. This has happened twice, the first I just deleted and started new. Everything was fine till I stopped the server to make a backup incase the same thing happened but when I started the server back up (stopped and started the whole server) and when I opened my Server Groups everything was there except the users in the ServerAdmin Group had disappeared on the right pane. Everything still worked for all server admins but every time you click on Server Admin Group you get “database invalid constraint” and the server admin client pane is empty. The only common factor I found between both times when this happened was that the server had clients on the server when I stopped the server (reg clients & server admins). After starting the server back up 20 seconds later all clients auto reconnected and showed back up in the channels they were in when I stopped it with everything working for all clients and no other issues. I read this should be corrected with the next updates, but I would like to know if possible what is happening to cause this. Is it a program bug causing an issue in the database? A database issue or just a program issue? (and yes I have stopped the whole server and restarted a couple times. I even took my backup and started it separately in its own dir and check to find it had the same issue which leads me to believe something happened when the server was shut down).
I have read this type issue will be resolved with the next beta release but if some one could quench my curiosity on this issue or give any help it would be much appreciated.
Thank you for any response given!

Today I found that I am having the same problem as you.
I did nothing to cause this. Everything was working and poof I can no longer click on Server Group / Server Admin without getting this error and it NOT showing me the clients.
I hope a Dev can shine some light on whats happening here.

After more investigation I have found that somehow I was added to the group_server_to_client twice with the same permittions to the Server Admin group.
After removing this row and restarting the server I was able to once again view and add myself to this group. All is well atm.

What did you do to fix this. I'm a bit confused and would prefer to fix my db without deleting it.
Thanks.

Never mind, got it. Had to list clients in each group, then remove each repetition of the clients, and re-add them. Got it though. Thanks!

Can you tell me how you did this exactly?
In steps xD
I was messing arround in SQL, clients aren't listed in the lists anymore!
How do I fix that?
First error when i click the group, second error when i try to edit permissions.
<11:59:33> database invalid constraint
