no sound option works for usb headset TS3

    he .

ive been trying the new beta just for fun.
my guild in wow still uses ts2.

ts2 works great with my logtech usb headset.
kubuntu see the headset as a nother soundcard .
thats great because i ken do ts over the headset and other sound over my normal sound card.

but when i use ts3 every option i pick for soundcard gives me te error back .
that cannot open the device .

in TS2 i just put in /dev/dsp1 and everything works.

tried it with ts3 but no go .

    any ideas

ps sorry for my english im dutch

I agree that it is difficult to change the mic or the speakers.

you have pulseaudio installed on your system?

If yes, try to deinstall pulseaudio with:

    sudo apt-get --purge remove pulseaudio
maybe this will solve your problem.

Also try to check if the client accept the other soundcard under the menu options:

Settings -> Options and choose under input and output the second sound card with alsa.
