Which kind of server for a ts3 server?
Hallo,
sorry i found nothing in forums about this.
Which kind of server is needed for a TS3-Server?
Root-Server or is a virtual server enough?
Are there special ports oder sevices to be open/activated?
Thanks in advance!

in most cases a virtual Server will be enough. If you use a firewall, you will have to open three ports:
9987 UDP for the first Virtual Teamspeak-Server Voice-Connection
10011 TCP for the Query-Connections
30033 TCP for using the File-Transfer-System
Other UDP-Ports have to be opened, when you create more virtual Teamspeak-Servers.
