[REL] Chose your own serverquery password!
Hey guys and girls,
here is another tool for you...
I was not amused by these passwords created by the server. I just wanted my own password for the serverquery (which is even stronger than the standard one) just because I can not remember the given one and so I had to write it down (what is not very good as you might know
).
So I decided to write a small script to create a hash for a given string/password.
You can access and use the script here:
http://test.do-wow.de/ts3/encode.php
Just type your "wish password" in the field and generate a hash.
The given hash has to be copied into your database at the right client...
SQLite:
First of all you need a tool to open the database (search at google or here in the forums -> "open sqlite" or something like that). Perhaps you have to download the database-file of your server and do this on your local computer to edit it.
Then continue with the instructions for mysql...
MySQL:
Open your mysql admin tool and open the database of teamspeak 3. Then open the table "clients" and search for your clients unique id/clientname. Copy the hash in the field "client_login_password".
You might restart the server! Just try if you have to or not...Last edited by Lil-rich; 02-02-2010 at 18:22.

You mean a "chance" right? ^^
I guess you want to add it to a webinterface
Yes, just write me a pm and I'll give you the code which's very simple though...
Only thing: It would be very nice if you could add a proper credit...

I think I will release it soon.
But please note that I spent a lot of time to find the solution so please give me a proper credit if you use this in your programs/tools... This will affect all releases in future so if any1 claims it as his own work I won't do something like that again...
Enough flaming
I hope this wasn't the wrong decision!
P.S.: I am not at home so I can't access my sourcecode. Please be patient and wait til the weekend.
