first picture. it is shown the internal ip.

have you tryed using 127.0.0.1 instead of your internal ip?

    second picture.

Try Teamspeak Client, and choose Permission >> ServerQuery Login

It make you a username and password, when you have intered a name.

Hope it helps, because it worked for me.

    cheers

Is there an advantage over persistant connection vs querying the server ever x amount of seconds?

So what's the chances of getting this set up so it can be run as a service without going through that mess below? I'd love to be able to place this on my server.

There is one other issue I encountered. If you could view this image:

I think it might be something to do with the query_ip_whitelist.txt, however since I am renting this server from gameservers.com I don't seem to be able to get at the physical files for the TS server. Any way to fix this?

Still don't have it running as a service, but I got the connection issue fixed.

New issue: The bot seems to kick people who are using Voice Activation even if they've been talking.

Is there any way to have TeamSpeak detect idleness like Vent does, where it goes by computer use, not just based on the last time the person spoke. Right now we have people that will log in and wait for others, only to get moved to the AFK channel because they hadn't talked in a while.

Is there any way to change settings to make the bot try and auto-reconnect like if the server has gone down?

Sorry I've been so unresponsive guys, I've been busy with school and what not and haven't had to much time until now. I know a lot of you have been having issues, but it seems the best action at the moment is to push to the next version and start with new bug reports. With that being said, today I am releasing 2.0.0 Beta. It's not very fancy at the moment, but it runs as a service and has an installer.

All you have to do is run the installer, goto the program files folder it has created (C:\Program Files\TS3 IdleMover\), and edit the config.xml there. The verboseLogging option does exactly what it says, adds more logging. Since this is a beta and the UI isnt done yet, to start and stop the service you need to goto "Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services", right click on TS3 Idle Mover, and click start. All events are logged to the event viewer in the application category.

If you find any issues with the program, post here and I'll do my best to help.

Also, what would you guys like to see in a UI for the program? I've got it basically finished by my specifications, just wondering what you guys might like.

I've been wondering: How exactly does this bot determine an idle user? It seems to go by if you've used push to talk recently, as I've had users report problems with being moved to the AFK channel because they were at their machine and not talking or if they are using Voice activation.

Is there any way to change the name of the bot? Right now it lists my Nickname and my IP address, and while I trust the guys on my server not to do anything with that I can't say broadcasting my IP is something I find thrilling.

Thanks for all your hard work on it!

One note for anyone installing it and changing settings... For some reason the config.xml is set to read only so you'll need to turn that off if you want to change any settings.

The config.xml read only thing is weird, I'll have to look into that.

The bot determines idle time by checking the idle time property that teamspeak has built into it. To reset idle time users can push their push to talk key or send a message in chat.

I don't think theres a way to change the bots name, but I'll see what I can do. Although to ease your concerns a bit, only server admins should be able to see the bot in the server.

    Look here: http://forum.teamspeak.com/showpost....6&postcount=13

The users also can see the nickname of the bot, if the bot do actions like moving clients around, send messages to clients or kick someone.

To all the guys that were having connection issues:

There was a bug in the library used by this app. So when the author of the app upgrades to the new lib, the connection issues should be gone.

First of all, great script thanks! I wish something like this was implemented in the core.

Second, I am receiving an error after running the script for a little while which says "Null object cannot be converted to a value type."

If I restart the script, it runs fine for a little while and then throws this error up again. Can I provide any further details somehow or perhaps you already know how to fix it?

    Thanks

I am using the 2.0 beta and it works great. The only thing I ask is in your next update could you put in a description for the service. I know that is being a bit anal but I do not like empty descriptions in my services. I cannot wait for your linux version. WOOT THIS ADDON ROCKS Get it folks.
