[Offline] My Now Playing Plugin
This Plugin is offline! Please follow This Thread,to get a new version.
Hello Forum
I first did want to release my plugin, but since some else already did some really simliar plugin, i will do it now.
Features:
- Show your current track in the Applications Entry.
- Enter "/nowplaying foo" to broadcast your current track, to your current channel.
- Option to broadcast any song change to the channels your online.
Works with:
- Winamp
- VLC
- Foobar2000 (You need the following plugin: http://chron.visiondesigns.de/foobar...oo_winamp_spam)
- MediaMonkey
- Aimp2
- Probably more wich support Winamp IPC API
Installation & Configuration:
1. Download!
2. Copy the dll file into the plugin folder, inside the teamspeak 3 folder
3. Start teamspeak, goto "setting", "plugins" and tick the box in front of "Now Playing Plugin"
4. Disable the plugin again!
6. Close teamspeak.
6. Go to your teamspeak config folder (if you dont know the path click on "tools", "client log", and search for "using configuration location")
7. Open the file now_playing_plugin.ini with an text editor like Notepad++, but not the normal notepad
8. Edit th config file as you wish
- {title} gets replaced by the song you are playing
- enable_applications (0 = do nothing, 1 = show your current song behind "Applications" in your info field)
- auto_channel_message (0 = do nothing, 1 = everytime you change your current song, a new "channel_message" gets written to your current channels)
- bound_to_unique_id (nothing = not used, 28 char unique id = only on servers where this unique id is used, "enable_applications" / "auto_channel_message" take affect)
9. Save the file encoded as "UTF-8 without BOM"
10. Start teamspeak
11. Load the plugin again
12. Have Fun
Remarks:
- You need to disable the App Scanner, to make the option "enable_applications" working
- When updating its better to delete the old config file before

This will be added in one of the next version, together with other players, wich support sending the "Now playing" information to MSN Messenger.

I would try to rebuild it with VS 2010, but It doesn't let me. the TS3 source doesn't like it. Oh well.

Tells me it cannot open / find ts3functions.h and a bunch of other files. When I tried adding TS3 SDK project, I wasn't able to open any of the files. Probably a problem with VS 2010.
