TSViewer & Permissions
I use TSViewer on my website, it is able to show channels, but not players.
I need to know which permissions must be set for the query to retrieve players online.

all those are granted and have a check in the value field.
by the way, what do skip , negate , and grant in the columns mean?Last edited by bigbadjames; 21-01-2010 at 22:17. Reason: forgot all of question..

I want to know exactly the same thing. What permissions I need to add to get my TS3 server listed in Gametracker or TSview or any other server monitoring website.
GT got following error when trying to query my server data:
"error id=2568 msg=insufficient\sclient\spermissions failed_permid=4356" to a "serverlist" command.

Same problem here with Gametracker.
You have to be logged in as serveradmin to use the command serverlist.
Before you didn't and GT is using this to track the servers.

TSViewer and GameTracker are working fine for my server...beta16
i set them both up back on beta 3 or 4.
at 1st TSViewer did not show clients in channels, i think when i set
i_client_max_channel_subscriptions -1
it worked fine..
here is a screenshot of my guest perm's

Error returned
clid=1 cid=210 client_database_id=192 client_nickname=Unknown\sfrom\sIPADDRESS:PORT client_type=1
this apparently is what comes back when they query the server.Any clue to what it means?

why would that be? has teamspeak changed the login from earlier betas to current? I ask this, because even after a reinstall of the server, my client shows it to be running beta 15, but a telnet query of the version shows it to be running version 1. this was true before and after the reinstall.

f they entered ....
login serveradmin <yourpassword>
instanceedit serverinstance_serverquery_flood_commands=20 serverinstance_serverquery_flood_time=5
with the serveradmin password where <yourpassword> is
should return something like this
error id=0 msg=ok (19 ms)
error id=0 msg=ok (65 ms)
Total: 84 ms
