    [Solved] Windows crash : TS3 Identity Recovery

    The windows boot directory on my old HDD failed and would no longer boot windows, however, I have recovered all of my data and can still access the HDD. How do I go about recovering my Unique TS2 Identity on that HDD that I was unable to export before the crash?

    Hi

    The identities, when installed as private, are in "%APPDATA%\TS3Client\ts3clientui_qt.secrets.co nf". When installed as common (shared between users of the same machine), im not sure, but probably they are in the program folder, with the same filename.

    After you open that file, you should then copy the info according to the identity you want to import, to a *.ini file following this model (without the <>'s):
    [Identity]
    id=<identity name>
    identity="<identity>"
    nickname=<identity nickname>
    Regards

    Thanks JonyBat for providing this solution as I was in the same situation as the OP and the Identities that I exported/imported didn't restore my SA, only that file you specified.
