    Solved I lost my server admin

    Hello.

    I'm rather new to TS3, and my skills using ServerQuery is limited.

    Short storry to explain what has hapened.
    My HDD crashed, and I lost my idents.

    I still have the serveradmin/password that was created tho.

    I now need to know, command by command how to add a new Super Admin token. (standard settings)

    I managed so far to connect to serverquery using putty.
    Take it from the top, eg. telnet localhost 10011

    Thumbs up Solved.

    Ok.

    After some testing i finaly solved it. Here is what i did...

    The bold letters are the one you have to imput yourself.

    telnet localhost 10011
    Trying 127.0.0.1...
    Connected to localhost.
    Escape character is '^]'.
    TS3
    login client_login_name=serveradmin client_login_password=password
    error id=0 msg=ok
    use sid=1 (note, 1 = virtual server number)
    error id=0 msg=ok
    tokenadd tokentype=0 tokenid1=6 tokenid2=0
    token=Fcd4USPkvf4iXaleOL6LwOfrELP+q1Ouqrza9lDG (example token output)

    Looks fine, as long as your server admin group is groupID 6 (which is default). Instead of creating a token and using that in your client you could also have connected to your server as guest, and then used server-query to add you to that group using "servergroupaddclient sgid=6 cldbid=<your client database ID>"

    Solved I lost my server admin

    Moved to diff channeal

    Hello

    I just reformatted my Desktop and reinstalled the TS 3 client and went to log in and it says that I don't have admin rights to my server anymore how do I get them back I tryed to use the token and pwd I saved from install and it didn't let me any help would be ver greatful thanks

    Hey!

    I just had to reinstall my system, and so i lost my admin on my own server...

    any way i can request a new priv key or anything? (my server is another comp in my local network, and i can access it as well)

    I have the old tokens that i cannot use anymore... also I have searched the forums and i need to get more info on the telnet shite i have seen, I do not understand that at all...

    yeah, what shall i use in the <> thingies, for the passwords i got 1 short pass with 8 lenght and i got a really long one as well.... also the other parts i dont understand, whats my serverID or db ID? since im guessing those are variables that needs to be replaced

    Hi,

    I've lost my server admin (I'm the host of the server) because my dumb friend accidentally
    took both of our server admin away.
    I have no clue how to get my server admin back so I would really appreciate some help!

    Please Help, I've forgotten My Admin User Name

    Hi Please can I get some help, I reinstalled Win 7 and teamSpeak 3 but I've lost My admin permission and I'm not sure if I'm using the right login name or if I'm using the right one and I've lost the permission, How can I find my login name? Please help. Thank you.

    I have a problem with my account on my server.
    I was admin, but I changed to normal.
    From there, I can not by me again admin.
    It says the server admin token is in use.
    what I do to get back to admin?

    There is log of admin lost:

    ts3server_2011-09-06__14_44_54.977316.log

    So I was the only admin on my server and I took it away from myself....don't ask.

    How do I give myself admin rights back? I do have the server admin password but I don't know how to use this info to login.

    I guess the password is wrong and you get banned for the wrong login informations.
    Please start the server with parameter serveradmin_password=yourpassword and try to login afterwards.

    complete pc crash new hdd cant get TS back on

    after hdd failure i inserted new one and re-installed TS3 , i can log into the server but have lost all of the data so cannot use server admin, i just appear as guest with no permissions, so can anyone help me please thanks
