[Suggestion] Stop Subscription spam on connect
Can this be changed from a new line for every sub. To 1 line? Or No notification at all if the user has been to the server before. Because i that quote spammed on my client when i log into my server. and i am still needing to add more channels and i will get more spam after that.<16:45:16> You subscribed to channel "Gaming Channel"
<16:45:16> You subscribed to channel "COD4"
<16:45:16> You subscribed to channel "Far Cry 2"
<16:45:16> You subscribed to channel "CODWaW"
<16:45:16> You subscribed to channel "Away Channel"
<16:45:16> You subscribed to channel "Support Channel"
<16:45:16> You subscribed to channel "Low Bandwidth Gaming Channel"
<16:45:16> You subscribed to channel "World of WarCraft"
<16:45:16> You subscribed to channel "Halo 2"
<16:45:16> You subscribed to channel "GTA4"
<16:45:16> You subscribed to channel "Games for Windows Live"
As well. I am subbed to my default channel. But when i come in and leave the default i am no longer subbed. The client is forgetting the sub for that channel even though i subbed to it on the previous connection.
Any one else agree?

Hi
From beta10 on, the client automatically outputs only one line, but the changelog only says if "subscribing all channels":
...so i'd say that for now you'd be better subscribing all channels. But yea, i totally agree with you.* When automatically subscribing all channels on login, don't spam log with subscribe message for each channel, just print one line.
As for the unsubscription from the default channel, it could be either because you've reached your maximum allowed subscriptions ("i_client_max_channel_subscriptions") or because you don't have permission to subscribe that channel ("i_channel_subscribe_power"/"i_channel_needed_subscribe_power").
Regards

This fix was for subscribe to all channels. So if you use subscribe to current and previously subscribed channels, then all channels will be listed. This is a wanted behaviour.
