sound quality issues server side?
Hi there,
i recently set up a TS3-Server and everything worked quite fine and the first (local) sound tests were very promising.
But: As soon as i talk to someone else (or someone to me or A to B, it seems not client specific) the voice gets a metallic touch and every s-sound sounds like overdriving or something wrong hardware-side - except that everything/one is working fine in TS2 :/
The client versions i tested this are beta16 and 17, the server is beta17.
The host is an opensuse 11.1. Any configs on the teamspeak-server are left as they were, nothing changed, only used the client-functions.
il
The Channel Codec is Speex Ultra 32kHz wiht maxed quality (10).
Any hint on what i'm doing wrong or what i could do to make the quality better is appreceated
thanks,
georg

metalic/hissing sounds are caused by packetloss. Maybe your internet connection or the connection of the server or the connection of the guy you are talking to are not handling the load well.
