License Key Issue

It's telling me it cannot find a valid license key. I went to the web site and gt an NFP license and the *.dat file was sent to me. I put it in the same directory as the executable, made sure that the permissions for the directory were wide open, but I get this error:

The filename was 'licensekey.dat' and that's what I see when I open it with either BBEdit or TextEdit. I received the license file on 2/5/2010.

Thanks for your reply. I did the battery calibration 2 times but It still didnt work and just suddenly It worked. I think that is really weird. Is it a hardware issue or a software issue?

You will need to attempt to download the file using webmail. or even try thunderbird.

Apple Mail detects ".dat" files as "embedded text" or metadata for attachments.

These issues crop up when someone sends a word file without .doc at the end.

Anyway. I downloaded it from webmail and the file came across correctly.

I have obtained a non-profit license and was wondering how I go about implementing it when one is running Mac OS X. There doesn't appear to be any clear instructions on this. I know I have to add it to the teamspeak-server_mac folder, but I don't know exactly where. After you figure that out for me, is there anything else I have to do after I add it?

You must place it in the main folder, the folder who apear after extract the zip. During this operation, your server must be stop. After, place the license in the main server folder, start your server and then edit your server's slot at 512.

Jeremiah please check your server log. Maybe the license is broken This happens very often on Mac OS X.
