    Offline messages (pop up notice)

I haven't seen where I'm notified if I have an offline message waiting for me.

Someone says it gets displayed in one of the chat windows.

How about a pop-up window like the same way poke works to let us know when we have a new offline message waiting.

The Notify comes when you go on the Server where a Message is waiting for your and will be displayed in the Server Tab of Chat Windows.

But he mean, if a user write an offline-message to him, he want to get a pop-up window like the poke window. Nevertheless, you're right!

Yes, the server chat window is not always the tab displayed.

Plus, I don't always pay attention to the chat windows.

A pop up will get my attention.

    Thanks for info though

Plus if you miss it, it could be a week before you discover it waiting (Like I did)

I like this feature request. I get a lot offline messages on public server and the server chat log is to fast to get it .

I wrote it down as feature request (low priority) and as an option in chat or notification.

    Thumbs up

I like this request too. It would be nice to have it as a popup when joining server.
I would also suggest that you do NOT have to add a user as a FRIEND before being able to send offline msgs.
The FRIEND feature might be useful to some ppl, but why not just list all friends in the top then, and all other users below, in the OFFLINE msgs. window.

My reason is: Ppl. often forget to set other users as FRIENDs(including myself). And then the Offline msgs. is less usable

I hope you ts3 team would consider this Thank you!

    [Suggestion]about offline messages...

    Hello,

Today I randomly noticed an offline message from a friend on my Teamspeakserver when I looked to the left corner at the bottom and saw this tiny little blue popup link. When I clicked on this message it told me that my friend wrote me this message on the 4th of February (today 7th). The thing I want to tell you is that it's very hard to perceive this tiny link.I know it's normally rare to write via the offline message system but just because of that it's important to make this future more visible (for Example like the Pop-Up Hostmessage) and maybe more expanded like all the other teamspeak futures.

I hope that you think about my suggestion and I would be pleased about a feedback.

    Best regards
    J0k3r

Offline Message Notice and Channel/Player internal IDs

    Dear Developers,

beside a few features I wish for teamspeak, there a few things I really canīt understand. Two of these are:

    1. Why is there no solid notice about offline messages, I only have a few members which even take notice about new message.
    2. Is it a security reason or why did you remove the internal Channel/Player IDs also for Administrators ?

The question "Why" can only be answered, because we did not think about the feature, when it was created.

    1. There is a ticket for this, but does not mean we implement that feature. t needs to be discussed.
    2. These informatiosn are not needed for new users and are a lot overloaded informations. We won't change that back in our default theme.
http://forum.teamspeak.com/showthrea...light=extended < Please do not start to discuss about that opinion.
    ---------------------------------------------------------
Please don't send me private messages with support questions as long I or someone else from Teamspeak Staff asked for it.
Seriously > They belong into the forum and maybe other users have these questions/problems too.
