IRC Interaction - mIRC Script [Version 1.2!]
Hello,
Attached is a mIRC Script to allow IRC to interact with TeamSpeak 3. This is a modification of the TeamSpeak 2 Script by aca20031, which can be found here: http://www.mircscripts.org/comments.php?cid=2979
This script displays the following information in a channel when requested by a command:
- Display online users
- Display all channels
- Kick players from TeamSpeak
- Ban players from TeamSpeak
- Message the server from IRC
- PM an user
- Poke an user
- Display various Server information (Total Users/Channels/Server name/IP:Port/version)
Also, it relays the following to IRC:
- Player Joins
- Player Quits
- Server Messages
A demo can be found on our IRC: irc.exoduscommunity.com - Channel: #exodus-home.
I highly value and appreciate any comments or bugs.---- FAQ ----
*** The script does not connect to the server! ***
- Follow the instructions given by the script. If no instructions are given, then triple-check all settings.
*** I can't figure this out! Help me! ***
- I will only provide support for this script at my own community, Exodus Gaming. I will only provide limited support on other websites, channels or networks.
- Website: http://exoduscommunity.com - Register there and PM "Prulez". Please specify the problem you have and also provide messages the bot outputs (if any). Also provide the network/channel you're using.
- IRC: irc.exoduscommunity.com, #exodus-home. PM "Prulez" on there. If I'm not there, then please contact me using the website.
*** Can I get rid of the !TS Version command? Your nickname and community advertisement are annoying me! ***
In theory, yes, you can get rid of it. Though, I would highly appreciate it if you wouldn't remove it. I won't help you with removing it, either.
I have spent a lot of hours creating this script. I could have kept it exclusive for my community, but as the need for a good script is high I am kind enough to release my modification of the TS2 Interaction script by aca20031.
Also, when I find out that you have removed this command, I will not provide any support anymore, would you need it. Also, I will send a horde of angry rabbits your way. You have been warned.
*** I love you for creating this! How can I express my endless love towards you? ***
When you like this script, please join our IRC and Website, listed above.
If you feel really generous, a PayPal donation using the donate button on our forums would be highly appreciated.
*** I've found a bug/got a suggestion. Where can I submit it? ***
Simple, contact me on IRC or on our Website, listed above.
Thanks and enjoy!

Okay, I've had a look at the channel and the issue was that he couldn't trigger the script because he was running it himself.. which is because of the on *:TEXT: event.
I am planning on adding menu's in a future version so you can make it display the info with a simple click when you're running it.
For version 1.2, the following is planned:
- Multi-channel support
- Banning (!TS Ban Username Reason)
- Configuration dialog instead of a seperate .ini file
- Syntax change for login on the TS3 server
- Using "serveridgetbyport" instead of "serverlist" to get the server id to use. (I have overlooked this handy command in the manual)
- Extended troubleshooting if the script fails to connect (Tells you where it has gone wrong)
- More when I can think of it
For future versions, the following is planned:
- Multi-server support in combination with multi-channel support (Be aware that this will take some time and you shouldn't expect this soon)
- Bugfixing
The ETA for Version 1.2 is 22 or 23 FebruaryLast edited by Prulez; 22-02-2010 at 12:48. Reason: ETA Adjustment

Multiple TeamSpeak servers are planned in a future version, but not right now. I want to have a permission system first for every command and plan on making it even more configurable. When the basis is set, I'll add multi-server support.
For version 1.3 I have planned:
- !TS Banlist
- !TS Delban
- Permission system
Hopefully it will be out around the end of this week.. The commands shouldn't be that hard, the permission system will take me some time though.
If you have any suggestions, then please let me know!

Okay, version 1.3 is under development. This should solve quite some issues some of you have when the script is requesting the server ID.
Also, I am planning to add the following:
- Enable/Disable commands, can be configured in the dialog
- Permission system, easy configuration to determine from which status onward it's allowed to use which command
- View the status of the server in the dialog.
- !TS Banlist
- !TS Delban
- Fix issues that some people are having when searching server id. (Using a different method now)
ETA is undetermined yet, I am making quite some progress but I've still got quite a lot to add.Last edited by Prulez; 25-02-2010 at 12:35.
