How to Activate licensekey.dat?!?
Hello
I have a non-profit licensekey, but i don't know how to use it.
I uploaded it on mijn server, but he doesn't accept it.
Can someone tell me where i have to put licensekey.dat and what i have to do to activate the key.
(I have a VPS where i have installed teamspeak3)

1. Upload the Licencekey.dat to the Root Folder of TS.
Most used:
U know your Folder...Code:/home/ts3

2. Restart the Server
3. Edit the Max Clients (i think you will that)

I dit that, but he doesn't take it.
If i try to create a server he gives this error
I don't know what to do.Code:error id=2816 msg=virtualserver\slimit\sreached

Are you see your License if you start the Server?

Do you know the commands to restart the server?
I use:
Are theise commands right to restart the server or should i restart it in a other way?Code:serverstop sid=1 serverstart sid=1
Because now he doesn't take the licensekey.dat!

Restart the whole serverprocess, not only the ts3-virtualserver

the command should be "serverprocessstop" and then you have to execute your serverstartscript from within a shell-console.
The startscript normally is "ts3server_startscript.sh"

well i did on the serverquery
Then I didCode:login serveradmin xxxxxxxx serverprocessstop

Because the teamspeakserver isn't online.

read the newest logfile in the subfolder "logs" of your teamspeak-installation, there should be everything written down, what is wrong. If you don't understand the messages, then post it here and ask.

Yea well, We re-created the error above and as you said check for a log file the weird things is after;
The last line in the last logfile just show's that I stopped the server,[crossfire@srv1 teamspeak3-server_linux-x86]$ ./ts3server_startscript.sh status
Server seems to have died
[crossfire@srv1 teamspeak3-server_linux-x86]$ ./ts3server_startscript.sh start
ts3server.pid found, but no server running. Possibly your previously started server crashed
Please view the logfile for details.
Starting the TeamSpeak 3 server
TeamSpeak 3 server started, for details please view the log file
2010-02-25 16:05:24.909239|INFO |VirtualServer | 1| stopped

ok, delete the ts3server.pid and start again.

please post the whole content of the newest log-file. There must be an output, that describes the problem.
