Client-auto-move
Hey TS3 users,
i/we have a roblem about "Default-Channel-Camping"
My m8īs are joining realy well the server, but they didnīt move to a different Channel after all.
And Yes i told them to set there Standard Channel for this server ...
Is it possible to activate some kind of "Client-auto-move-setting, like move client from Defaultchannel to Channel xyz after 2 min.or so?
By the way: The server is running on Windows and itīs a 3rd party Host. So I canīt edit the Script but I have "S".
Thx m8īs

A windows server?`Who is using Windows as Webserver???
Anyway, what you can do is set a needed_talk_power for the default channel, so that noone (except SA) may talk there.
That way your users should switch to another channel...
PS: Please send a PM with your TS-Hoster. Thanks.

Sounds like you need to create a restircted admin group and place them in that. Then turn up the needed talk power to something above what they have. Creating the restricted admin group will allow you to maintain admin rights and them to have most rights but prevent them from changing things like the required talk power for the default channel.
I'm still at a loss as to why this is a problem. Most of the time on my clan's server we are all in the default channel. If it gets too busy/noisy then we move to another channel.

For your information, auto move into another channel won't be included by developers. This request was rejected in alpha. So someone should create a server plugin for this actions. Or you change some channel permissions like idle time 600 seconds and a high needed talk power.
